Independent Gallery was founded in the late 1980s with an emphasis on Pop Art, particularly British. Co-director Robin Hardy had been passionate about Pop since the 'Swinging 60s' and has made it his business to get to know many of the artists personally.
We have now expanded our interests to include works by selected modern and post war masters.
Over the years Independent Gallery has acquired art works for a wide spectrum of clients ranging from private collectors to major public institutions and in doing so built up an impressive list of international sources. Requests for original prints that you may be seeking are welcome.
Our philosophy is to build long term, mutually beneficial relationships with our clients. We are dedicated to providing the highest standards of ethics, connoisseurship and scholarship.
New works will be regularly added to this web site and can be viewed by prior appointment at our London premises.
